Tamper Food and Coffee

I had the privilege to visit @tamperfoodandcoffee cafe in Prahran. Which only recently reopened on 22nd Jan with a brand new menu. The location of this beautiful venue is on 412 High Street, Prahran Corner Williams Road and High Street and across the Honda dealership. There is plenty of parking, with one hour parking along the front of the shop and free all day parking further up on Normanby and Trinian Street, which is a 5min walk from the cafe. For those who travel via public transport, you can take the Route 6 and Stop 35 (Williams road stop). It’s a cafe that’s easy to find with it’s cute and quirky logo.

The staff was amazing and really took the time to serve all their customers. I really appreciated the staff, who were incredibly patient with us, as always we took forever to order our dishes especially hard this time because everything on the new menu sounded amazing. In the end we chose the Waffle ice cream sandwich, Hash and Pumpkin Fitters. For drinks we had the cold drip and tumeric latte, both made perfectly. The coffee was amazing which didn’t surprise me as the coffee was by AU79, which are known for their amazing beans. All I can say about the food was that each dish we tried was spot on! It was almost impossible to choose a favourite, each dish had character, flavour and was beautifully presented. The cost of the dishes was fair and really worth the price. I’m extremely excited to try the other items on the new menu and look forward to my next visit.
